Finance Manager

Job Description:

Responsibilities

  • Produce accurate and timely financial reports and statements to provide insights into the organization’s financial status
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual management reports for review by top management
  • Monitor financial performance, analyze variances, and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Ensure data accuracy by reviewing reconciliations and accounting entries prior to reporting
  • Ensure all financial practices comply with statutory regulations, accounting standards (IAS/ IFRS) and internal policies
  • Oversee accurate and timely tax filings and enhance compliance with financial regulations
  • Liaise with external auditors, tax authorizes and regulatory agencies to ensure smooth audits and inspections
  • Develop, implement and maintain financial policies, procedures and internal controls to ensure compliance and operational efficiency
  • Identify, assess and manage financial risks to safeguard the organization’s assets
  • Develop and implement effective internal control systems to ensure data integrity and prevent fraud
  • Provide valuable financial insights and recommendations to senior management to support informed decision-making
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations and contribute to achieve organizational goals
  • Stay up to date on market trends, economic conditions, and changes in regulations that may impact the organization
  • Perform any other duties assigned by top management

Job Requirements:

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. A Master’s degree or professional qualification such as CPA or ACCA is highly desirable, and CPA certification is preferred
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting, including at least 5 years in a supervisory or managerial role
  • Experience in the manufacturing, trading, or distribution industries is advantageous
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS, IAS, and applicable tax laws
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (eg; Odoo) and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent leadership, problem-solving, organizational and team management skills

Working Time:

8:30 AM ~ 5:00 PM

Monday ~ Saturday (half day)

Sunday & Public Holidays closed
