Responsible for developing and executing international trade strategies to expand the company’s agricultural product portfolio in global markets. This role involves market research, trade compliance, logistics coordination, and building relationships with international buyers, suppliers, and government agencies.

Identify and evaluate new international market opportunities for the company’s products

Develop and implement export/import strategies to maximize profitability and market share

Conduct competitor analysis and monitor global trade trends in agri-commodities

Ensure compliance with international trade regulations (INCOTERMS, customs, tariffs, phytosanitary standards, etc.)

Manage documentation for exports/imports (letters of credit, bills of landing, certificates of origin, etc.)

Liaise with customs brokers, freight forwarders, foreign banks and regulatory bodies to ensure smooth trade operations

Coordinate with suppliers, farmers, and logistics partners to ensure timely and cost-effective shipment of goods

Monitor shipping schedules, port operations, and inventory management

Optimize supply chain processes to reduce costs and improve efficiency

Build and maintain strong relationships with international buyers, distributors, and government trade agencies

Represent the company at trade fairs, exhibitions, and B2B meetings

Negotiate contracts, pricing, and trade terms with global partners

Assess and mitigate risks related to currency fluctuations, geopolitical factors, and supply chain disruptions

Work with finance teams to manage payment terms, credit risks, and hedging strategies
