Chief Operating Officer

Position Summary

Responsible for overseeing trading, production, and after-sales service functions, ensure seamless end-to-end operations while proactively identifying growth opportunities, optimizing internal processes, and developing future leaders within the business unit. 

Responsibilities

• Improve work processes to save time and cost while keeping high quality
• Ensure products and services are delivered on time and meet customer expectations
• Set clear goals and track performance using Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
• Work with the CEO and leadership team to set business goals and strategies
• Use global best practices where possible, but adjust them to suit local market and business culture
• Identify new market opportunities and support sales and marketing teams
• Create a strong work culture that values accountability, respect, and continuous improvement
• Provide coaching and support to local managers to grow their leadership skills
• Ensure all operations follow local laws, industry standards, and company rules
• Encourage open communication and teamwork across departments

Job Requirements:

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field, MBA or international management training is a plus
• At least 10 years of experience in operations, supply chain, or general management
• Experience in manufacturing, trading, or service industry preferred
• Strong track record of improving operations and leading teams
• Strong leadership and decision-making skills
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changes
• Good communication skills in English and Myanmar
• Must be willing to visit factories, service centers, and customer sites as needed
