Junior Infrastructure Support Engineer

Position Summary

Responsible for supporting and maintaining the organization’s network and systems infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, availability, and security. This role involves hands-on work in networking, server administration, storage, Microsoft 365, and virtualization technologies, with opportunities for learning and career advancement.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day support for both network and system operations including switches, firewalls, and Windows servers
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain network infrastructure (LAN, WAN) and system performance using network monitoring tool
• Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure smooth operation and rapid issue resolution
• Administer Microsoft Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and licensing in Microsoft Entra ID and Office 365
• Perform regular backup operations and support disaster recovery processes virtualization environment
• Support and maintain storage and SAN switch environments
• Provide responsive and professional end-user support, maintaining a customer-oriented attitude
• Develop and maintain documentation for systems configurations, processes, and support procedures
• Participate in network and system upgrade projects and deployments
• Maintain asset inventories and ensure compliance with IT policies

Job Requirements:

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in IT infrastructure support or system/network administration
• Experienced in working with network concepts such as IP addressing, routing, switching, VLANs, and firewalls
• Experience in working with Microsoft Windows Server (AD, DHCP, DNS), Office 365 and Entra ID (Azure AD) administration
• Basic experience in virtualization environments
• Knowledge of storage systems and SAN switch configurations
• Basic experience Linux system knowledge
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Good communication skills and a willingness to learn and take initiative
