Head of Brand Activation

Job Description:

Responsibilities

  • Lead, motivate, and develop the Consumer Activation Team to enhance skills, competencies, and meet both brand and personal development goals
  • Oversee the planning and execution of consumer activations (e.g., promotions, merchandising, visibility, events) for all brands within the company's portfolio, aligning with the strategy plan
  • Collaborate closely with the Brand Development Team and Commercial Team to create and implement the annual brand activation plan
  • Take the lead in developing and executing data-driven consumer activities based on insights from the Consumer Intelligence Team
  • Leverage consumer segmentation and customer segmentation for effective consumer activation planning
  • Use consumer data and insights to drive data-informed activities
  • Manage and control the consumer activation budget effectively
  • Deliver inspiring and comprehensive activation briefs to agencies
  • Provide timely evaluations of activations, highlighting key learnings
  • Follow UTC SOP to develop and enhance the annual UTC Plan and execution strategies
  • Utilize brand communication campaigns and sponsorships to create memorable brand experiences
  • Uphold brand identity in all merchandising and visibility initiatives
  • Ensure all business activities align with legal requirements, ethical standards, and the Company Code of Conduct

Job Requirements:

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in marketing or related field
  • At least 10 years of relevant experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a managerial role
  • Previous experience in multinational companies strongly preferred
  • Comfortable working in an on-trade environment within the alcoholic beverages industry
  • Significant experience in marketing and trade marketing within FMCG or wine and spirits industries
  • Strong blend of creativity and analytical skills
  • Exceptional communication, influence, interpersonal, and social skills
  • Adaptable and effective in fast-paced environments
  • Fluent in both Burmese and English
  • Proficient in computer skills, including email and MS Office
  • Willingness to travel domestically
