Job Description:
Position Summary
Responsible for managing and overseeing the fleets, logistics, customs clearance and warehouse operations within Myanmar and maintaining overall high operational standards. Develop formal SOPs for the company's operations, and seek to constantly improve those SOPs. Build operational capacity by collaborating with sales and customer service department. Hire, train and motivate new operations staffs to maintain high degree of productivity, retention and develop a professional team of international quality.
Responsibilities
- Develop vendor lists and negotiate the best tariff rates with transport, warehouse, leasing and procurement vendors throughout Myanmar
- Ensure the vehicle registration, transport business license,and insurances are up to date
- Monitor fuel consumption, repair, toll fee, and all expenses are in line with the budget
- Ensure that the drivers are well behaved as per the company's guideline
- Create yearly budgets, plan expenses, identify deviations, and starting the corrective measures to ensure the warehouse reach their financial goals
- Enforce safety regulations and guidelines in accordance with legal requirements, and environmental standards
- Ensure transparency in the clearance flow, and the company resources are effectively used in other works to eliminate both internal and external corruption
- Ensure that the company does business with reputable, reliable, flexible suppliers by following the company's policy
Job Requirements:
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Proven experience as a General Manager or similar executive role
- Strong experience in logistics and supply chain industry
- Knowledge of business processes and functions
- Outstanding organizational and leadership skills
- Excellent problem solving skills and communication skills
- Strong analytical abililty
Working Time:
8:30 AM ~ 5:30 PM
Monday ~ Saturday
Sunday & Public Holidays closed
