Procurement Manager

Job Description:

Responsibilities

  • Source and deliver RM/PM, supplies and the Companys' requirements from local and international suppliers on time as per existing procurement policy
  • Prepare, review and process for the approval for QCS and PO
  • Conduct supplier survey, manage vendor contract and development
  • Manage documentations related to vendors (NDAs and Contracts)
  • Manage import license application to import and ensure MIC/TEC exemption
  • Gather and produce summary of materials, quantity and cost required by PPIC and R&D
  • Manage supplier database, performance and supplier qualification process
  • Coordinate with finance & Kaleidoscope to ensure payment to Vendors (Opening of LC, DP, DA and TT)
  • Prepare and submit sourcing & delivery status reports on a monthly basis
  • Prepare other ad hoc reports related to sourcing projects
  • Develop, improve and recommend better sourcing policies, processes and practices
  • Coordinate with PPIC for commercial products, R&D for new products, QC for laboratory requirements and QA for any material-related issue
  • Supervise procurement team activities, performance and organizational requirements

Job Requirements:

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration (or) Pharma
  • An internationally recognized supply chain management diploma
  • Minimum 6 years work experience in both local and international procurement in Pharma industry
  • Minimum 2 years work experience in a supervisory position
  • Experience working in cGMP certified environment
  • Ability to communicate in both English and Myanmar fluently
  • Proficient in organizing skills, analyzing skills, planning skills and creative problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in effective communication skills
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office tools and Excel at advanced level
  • Proficient in sourcing concepts principles and methodology
  • Proficient in category management 
  • Proficient in Myanmar export/import rules & regulations
  • Proficient in creative problem-solving skills

Working Time:

Monday ~ Friday

Saturday & Sunday closed
