Assistant Manager, Employee Relations

Job Description:

Responsibilities

  • Managing and maintaining positive employee relations with minimal disputes within an organization
  • Collaborate and partner with Center of Expertise/Excellence and People Operations on Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, Talent Management, Talent Development/Learning & Development, Compliance, employee relations
  • Consulting to line managers for People related matters to be strictly adhered to policies & procedure & ensuring compliance at all stages
  • Developing and maintaining positive relationships with employees and labor unions/ labor authorities
  • Ensure up to date on legislative laws & policies of the government
  • Conducting investigations into employee misconduct or violations of company policies if needed or provide guidance
  • Consult with the organization on labor laws and applicable legislation
  • Provide counsel to employees regarding company and governmental policies, regulations, and procedures when approached
  • Support and align cultural and behavioral change necessary for all corporate IR/ER programs
  • Support handling, the labor dispute between employee and company, in acting as liaison to the government, and as a management representative when needed
  • Build IR skills and expertise across the People & Culture department, together with leader including capabilities in labor legislations
  • Foster strong links with external networks and share best practice in the field of Industrial Relations
  • Lead the compliance tools at Site and assure compliance practices
  • Keeping track records of disciplinary action in the organization and analyzing the root causes to avoid occurrences as well as minimize major issues
  • Analyze and evaluate the existing IR monitoring systems, using new digital platforms
  • Work and collaborate closely with Compliance and Risk management team 
  • Ensure employees’ behavior is complying with organization rules & regulations, local labor regulations by conducting off site and in site regular training for awareness
  • Collaborate with Disciplinary team to take necessary actions to employees who breach of rules and regulations
  • Perform other duties and tasks assigned by the lead of Industrial Relation & People compliances unit

Job Requirements:

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Any graduate with relevant academic backgrounds (MBA holder and international Graduate is preferable)
  • Must have at least 5 years of working experience in the Human Resources Management field as HR Industrial Relations and People Compliance
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service oriented
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to comprehend, interpret, analyze and apply the appropriate sections of applicable laws, guidelines, regulations, ordinances, and policies
  • Ability to acquire a thorough understanding of the organization's hierarchy, jobs, qualifications, compensation practices, and the administrative practices related to those factors
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
  • Computer literate and English skills

9:00 AM ~ 5:00 PM

Monday ~ Friday
