Head of HR

Job Description:

Responsibilities

  • Support the implementation and compliance check of organisational benefits policies, procedures and initiatives, and maintaining organisational HR standards in all processes
  • Support CLHRO and all function heads in all stages of strategic human resource management
  • Oversee required administrative support systems to facilitate smooth operation of the human resources department
  • Review and provide recommendations to executive management for improvement of the policies, procedures, and practices on personnel matters
  • Maintains knowledge of industry trends and employment legislation and ensures compliance
  • Responsible for compliance with local labor law and legislation pertaining to all personnel matters
  • Communicates changes in personnel/ human resources policies and procedures and ensures proper compliance is followed
  • Implementation of the annual review, preparation and administration of compensation and benefits program
  • Coordinates or conducts exit interviews to determine reasons behind separation
  • Consults with legal counsel as appropriate, or as directed by CLHRO, on personnel matters
  • Works directly with department managers to assist them in carrying out their responsibilities on personnel matters
  • Recommends, evaluates and participates in staff development for the company
  • Develops and maintains a human resource system that meets personnel information needs
  • Supervises the staff of the human resource department ensure all employees are treated fairly
  • Ensure that benefits, salaries are fair and relevant to Employees’ JDs
  • Participates in assigned committees and special projects and seeks additional responsibilities

Job Requirements:

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Minimum 20 years’ experience in all faucets of HR Management and at least 5 years in Managerial role and 2 years in Director level position
  • Comprehensive knowledge on Myanmar labour law and legislation, Income tax law, Social Security law as minimum standards
  • Any degree holder, preferable an MBA, specific qualification in human resources management
  • Strong and proven analytical and negotiation skills
  • High emotional intelligence and ability to deal with people with diverse background
  • Have counselling experience and ability
  • Accuracy and good attention to detail
  • Have a good network with local HR professionals
  • Ability to work under pressure and with tough deadlines
  • Ability to manage 5 or more team members with exceptional managerial skill
  • Team player, service-oriented person with good communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal awareness including diplomacy, being able to get on well with others and respect for confidentiality
  • Possess excellent skills in databases, word processing, spreadsheet, desktop publishing, and presentation applications
  • Aware of the sensitivity and confidentiality of the function and act upon it

9:00 AM ~ 5:00 PM

Monday ~ Friday

Saturday & Sunday closed
