Nexus Programming - Lead Consultant

Job Description:

Responsibilities

  • Mapping of key grants and requirements to develop a comprehensive framework
  • Use the comprehensive framework and road map developed to initiate key tasks
  • Collaborate with the organization’s cross functional teams to finalise tools and analytical framework for assessments and partnership mapping
  • Guide the sub-consultant on tasks related to the needs assessments – including training of enumerators for quantitative and qualitative data collection, quality control measures, data analysis and validation
  • Develop comprehensive needs analysis and partnership reports based on agreed structure of the documents
  • Review potential call for proposals and support the development of briefs, documents, concept notes and proposals

Job Requirements:

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Proven expertise in Humanitarian Response and DRR and design/implementation of multi-sectoral programmes
  • Well networked with donors, INGOs, local NGOs and Cluster Coordination mechanisms
  • Understanding of Key Frameworks applied in Humanitarian Response and ability to adapt/apply
  • Strong understanding of integrating Safeguarding, Protection, Gender and Inclusion and HDP Nexus in programmes development
  • Use of quantitative and qualitative data collection and assessments and analytical frameworks
  • Experience with consultations and seeking engagement of a range of stakeholders in developing informed project designs
  • An advanced understanding and experience of developing Theory of Change, Results Framework and estimating population groups
  • Proven technical understanding of gender and inclusion, HDP Nexus Programming
  • Proficiency in quantitative and qualitative methods of data collection, including data analysis
  • Experience of Humanitarian Response Programmes development in context of in Myanmar
  • Ability to coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams, adhere to agreed timelines and bring tasks to fruition
