Production Engineer

Position Summary:

Responsible for implementation of production processes and procedures, leading productivity improvements with project-based activities, including new product introduction and manufacturing cell design to reduce waste, improve quality and safety, and reduce operating costs. Manage KPIs and ensure preventative actions are taken to maximize success. 

Responsibilities

• Reduce variability in manufacturing by providing standard work methods and work instructions
• Ensure product and process quality meets specifications required
• Oversee installation of machinery and equipment
• Quality control of work by appropriate reviews
• Write reports and present progress at project meetings and to clients
• Manage KPIs and undertake continuous training and development
• Ensuring materials meeting specifications, quality standards and are cost efficient
• Ensuring the consistent and adequate supply of material necessary for production
• Coordinating with other departments regarding production goals, timelines, budgets etc...
• Understand the required machines for every production
• Controlling and adjusting machine setting and test operation of machines periodically
   

Job Requirements:

Required Qualifications And Skills

• B.E(civil) or can negotiate base on experience if not B.E (civil)
• At least 5 years’ experience in similar position.(more preferable in Aluminium façade field)
• Independently determines approach and assigned tasks
• Understanding engineering, scientific and other technical information
• Strong problem-solving skills and logical approach
• Ability to work in a diverse and dynamic environment
• Excellent negotiation skills and ability to present data effectively
• Understanding of Health and Safety practices
• Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Power point skills
• Exercises latitude and technical judgement in deciding work methods
• Ability to train the work group and lead teams within the work group
• Ability to manage group to achieve goals within budget
• Good understanding of customer expectations and deliverables with an awareness of the impact of failure/cost of poor quality
