[Position Closed] Oracle and MySQL DBA

Responsibilities

• Manage, monitor and maintain company databases
• Make requested changes, update and modification to database structure and data
• Ensure database security, integrity, stability and system availability
• Maintain database backup and recovery infrastructure
• Data Modeling using ERD
• Design target database in Oracle and MySQL
• Implement database using DDL and DML in Oracle and MySQL
• Analyze database and suggest performance improvements in the server and large running queries
• Analyze database for troubleshooting and data related problems of banking applications
• Monitor product databases of the bank in Oracle and MySQL
• Maintain uptime of 99.5% or more for the production database servers
• Backup and restore of Oracle Enterprise database server and MySQL Enterprise database server using RMAN
• Install, configure and maintain Oracle Database Server & RAC 2-node cluster
• Install, configure and maintain MySQL database server & Enterprise 2-node cluster
• Optimize Oracle and MySQL enterprise database server and long running queries on it

Job Requirements:

Required Qualifications And Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in B.C.Sc, MC.Sc, B.C.Tech, MC.Tech
• Certification in Oracle is an added advantage
• IT Engineer around 3 years’ experience working as DBA
• Experience with Oracle Database 12c, 19c and MySQL Enterprise 5.7
• Experience with database tools such TOAD, SQL Developer, DB Artisan
• Good PL/SQL and t-SQL knowledge
• Exposure to Finacle Core Banking 10.2.17
• Linux and Windows OS exposure
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Planning and prioritizing skills
• Sound knowledge of Oracle 19c Enterprise Database Server and MySQL 5.7 Enterprise Database Server
